TASTING BOXES

These boxes can be used by individual young visitors

The test box allows children to experimentally discover how to work with materials. By feeling the material and experimenting with it, its properties are better discovered. Furthermore, simple techniques can be tried out. The box also serves for inspiration, helping to create new ideas.

Each box contains the necessary materials and a brief instructional manual. You can choose from the following themes:

1. Leather sewing

2. Braiding Techniques

3. Making medieval closure

4. Swallow

5. Embroidery

6. Rebooking

CHILDREN'S PARTIES

If you want to celebrate your party in the Shoe Quarter, you can!

We begin with a brief tour of the first floor. Here you can see how shoes are designed and made. Then you will pimp old shoes you brought along or make leather jewelry.

The tour lasts about 30 minutes, the workshop 60 minutes. In between we take a break with lemonade and cake.

Duration: 2 hours.
Cost: € 25 per child

Children's parties are offered for a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 10 children (ages 7 to 12) accompanied by a minimum of 1 and a maximum of 2 adults.
