Judith Sanders explores repair and recycling through weaving techniques. Building on her master's research into alternative manufacturing methods and sustainable materials, she explores weaving as a form of repair. She incorporates residual materials from factories, such as shoelaces and leather remnants, into existing footwear. In this way, repair takes on a new meaning/form and shoes are given a second life.
