Tommy's work focuses on combining traditional craftsmanship with innovative technologies. While in Waalwijk, the Netherlands, he explores how anatomically correct shoe design can contribute to comfort and accessibility for people of all ages and foot shapes. Inspired by both "five finger shoes" and traditional sneakers, he creates a model that allows the toes room to spread while remaining easy to put on and take off - even for people with deformed toes due to conventional, narrow shoes.
Visitors can follow Tommy's process in the Shoe Lab, where he experiments with shapes, materials and techniques.
