WHAT IS CLUB SEEING?
Club Zien is a partnership between Het Noordbrabants Museum, Design Museum Den Bosch, Stedelijk Museum Breda, Van Abbemuseum Eindhoven and Museum Helmond. The goal: to make the museums more accessible to secondary school students. By connecting art, culture, heritage, design, history and education, we offer a place that stimulates students' wonder, imagination and creativity. From Club Zien a valuable and attractive educational offer is developed in close co-creation with students and teachers. The offerings connect seamlessly to the needs and experiences of the students as well as to the learning goals and competencies of the school subjects.
OSTENSIBLY
See art through the eyes of music and sound.
How does what you hear also influence what you see? How do sounds you hear every day combine with works of art from the museum? Does this music fit well with the work you are looking at? Can you create your own soundtrack to a work of art? With silent disco headphones on, students are challenged to explore and make the connection between what they hear and what they see.
In Ogenschijnlijk, students, as a group but also in pairs, engage in linking sounds and music to visual art. By doing various viewing and listening tasks, students view the works in the museum from different perspectives. Sounds from everyday life that are commonplace at the time take on a whole new sound in the museum galleries.
After the section at the museum, students will work in the workshop space to create their own soundtrack to a chosen work of art.

UPDATE
Choose your own assignments and artworks that expand your view.
The world of the museum, education and the experiences of young people are constantly changing. That is why it is important to constantly monitor and align these three pillars. This is why the educational offerings are developed in co-creation with secondary school students and teachers. They are not only invited to visit the museum, but are also actively involved in the development of the offerings. Because secondary school students themselves know best what they want to experience and do in a museum. And teachers are best placed to assess what fits in with the school subjects. In this way, we work together to create an offer that not only seamlessly connects to students' experiences, needs and wishes, but also to learning goals, competencies and skills.
How do you combine different art disciplines covered in ckv with each other in the museum? In this museum lesson, students will work with theater, design, photography, film, music, visual arts and heritage in the museum.
Students choose which assignments they make and to which works of art they make these assignments. They also choose whether they prefer to work with viewing, thinking, doing or drawing assignments. So it's up to the student! Through different assignment cards, students are challenged to look at works of art in different ways and adopt different perspectives during the program.
