Artist in Residence

To further strengthen our role as a breeding ground and springboard for young talent, an Artist in Residence program began in 2023, in which graduate students are allowed to work in the bodehuis for 2-3 months on a selected project/assignment. For this purpose, we actively scout top (inter)national graduates who are at the beginning of a promising career.

These top talents will have the opportunity to work in the MAAKLAB for a work period and use the knowledge center and collection. In 2024 we want to realize a sleeping place for the resident in the attic of the bodehuisje, so that the resident can spend more time on his/her research. The messenger house is part of the museum visit.
